UN: 12 civilians died on Donbas during three months

 The UN Monitoring Mission informs about 12 civilians who died as the result of the war in the east of Ukraine. 

It is indicated in the OHCHR report on the situation with human rights in Ukraine prepared by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. 

The OHCHR has also documented the total of 73 victims among the civil population in connection with the conflict, in particular, 12 persons died and 61 were injured, the document states. 

It should be noted that the OHCHR were not able to clearly define, which exactly party to a conflict is responsible for the victims among the civilians. 

The 21st report of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine was prepared according to the results of the work of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine and covers the period from November 16, 2017 to February 15, 2018.
