In 1975, the UN, in connection with the International Women’s Year, declared March 8 as the International Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace.
February 20 is the World Day of Social Justice | February 2, 2012
The celebration of this day must favour the coordination of efforts of the international community in the area of liquidation of poverty, ensuring of full employment, decent working conditions, equal rights for men and women, social welfare and social justice for everyone.

This notable day was established by the UN General Assembly on November 1, 2005 to mark the occasion of release by the Soviet forces of the prisoners of concentration camp Oświęcim (Auschwitz) in Poland.
